As a nonprofit (501(c)(3)) organization, the Foundation raises money and works hand-in-hand with wildlife professionals and conservation educators to fund the conservation of wildlife and natural places that are important to our family traditions such as hiking, hunting, fishing and watching wildlife.
Donations will support:
- Improvements to Fish and Game educational facilities, including Barry Camp, the Owl Brook Hunter Education Center and the Great Bay Special Collections exhibit.
- Land purchases or conservation easements that provide habitat for rare species and protect water quality;
- Department activities such as the Landowner Relations Program, aerial stocking of remote trout ponds, and the K9 Search and Resuce program
- Communication efforts such as conservation education materials for schoolchildren, wildlife television programming and outdoor education.
- Statewide community events such as Discover WILD New Hampshire Day and National Hunting and Fishing Day events in New Hampshire.
